Train the Trainer - Manchester
The Train the Trainer course is a customised Level 4 accredited qualification by RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively train others in safe and dignified handling practices within health and social care environments.

Aims and Objectives:
- Understand Safe Handling Practices
Learn the importance of safe, dignified handling practices, including the application of relevant regulations like the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR 92) and Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER). - Ergonomics and Risk Management
Explore how ergonomics can enhance safety and welfare in the workplace by analyzing risks to staff and service users using the TILEO process and identifying ways to mitigate both physical and psychological risks. - Risk Assessment Skills
Gain a thorough understanding of risk assessment principles within healthcare and social care settings, learning how to carry out manual handling risk assessments effectively. - Principles of Safe Handling
Delve into the core principles of safer handling, such as maintaining proper posture and understanding the impact of individual factors like age, previous injuries, and biological factors on manual handling risks. - Training Techniques for Safe Handling
Learn how to design and deliver training sessions that effectively communicate the principles of safe handling, including practical demonstrations and interactive learner activities. - Controversial Handling Methods
